| From darkness springs forth color. Wide bands of color spring
forth from a darker outer area in this gradient set. Shades
of yellow and white are dominant in this gradient set. These
gradients create the illusion of light springing forth from
a line in the center of an object. |
These gradients use transparency. The transparency fades from
a bright color to whatever color exists below it. Be aware of
what exists on the layer underneath - as they extremely different
against any other background image. |

| We call this gradient set - the stepper set. Unlike most of
our sets, the transition between colors is not smooth. The hard
line transition highlights the shifting between colors without
giving lines that are too harsh and rigid. These are also ideal
for cool text effects. |
Chrome explosion. These gradients are variations on the standard
chrome effect gradient. You will notice that the bottom right
portion of all of the gradients is similar - but the highlighted
portion of the chrome effect is different. This gradient is
perfect for creating attractive skies in your images. |
